PADI DRIFT DIVER BALI

Get ready for a thrill. Bali has some of the most spectacularly fast currents around. Take a boat ride to Nusa Penida. Descend at one end of the Wall and surface at the other. Even super man can't fly like this.

It's like an IMAX movie with all your favourite Sea characters. Only difference is, you're the one moving. Safe & fast!! If we're lucky on the day, we'll get a 4 or 5 knotter. This is where the saying "Go with the flow." really has some meaning.

What do I need to start?

  • PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
  • Minimum age: 12 years old

What will I do?

During your PADI Drift Diver certification course, you'll learn about drift dive planning, organization, techniques and potential hazards, as well as special equipment and procedures like buoyancy. But it's not all theory because you'll go on two open water dives where you can put your new knowledge into action. These dives in Bali can be exhilirating, so you need to be prepared mentally for this thrill.

How long will it take?

  • Recommended Course Hours: 1 Day
  • Minimum Open Water Training: 2 Dives in as little as one day

Where can I go from here?

Your Adventures In Diving program Drift Adventure Dive may be count towards your Specialty certification at instructor discretion. You may also count this Specialty certification toward one of the five required Specialties for the Master Scuba Diver certification.
